job summary:

Tatum is working with a hospital located in Southeastern North Carolina to recruit an interim Accounting Manager to join them asap for an initial period of 3 months with the option to extend or convert to a permanent employee. This position reports to the Director of Finance and will have responsibility for 10 direct reports.

Competitive weekly pay in addition to all travel and lodging expenses.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE :

Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. 5 years plus progressive healthcare financial management and accounting experience. Working knowledge of statistical methods for analysis, financial accounting systems and procedures. Proven competence in the analysis, interpretation, explanation and presentation of data trends and comparisons. Advanced proficiency in the use of spreadsheets and database software. Previous experience in managing employees.

Preferred: Above plus previous education/experience in a non-profit healthcare setting, with exceptional working knowledge of complex healthcare finance. Self starts tasks/projects without being directed. Possesses a high level of accuracy in all work with attention to all detail.
