POSITION: Account Executive - Ocean Product

Territory: Northeast

One of the largest providers of logistics and transportation solutions, has a key opportunity for an Account Executive to focus on selling Ocean Product solutions throughout the Northeast, Territory will include New York, New Jersey, and New England. Our clients' approach enables global shippers to streamline the process of delivering products overseas while increasing efficiency and reducing expenditures related to global transportation. The initial focus of this position will be to develop solid relationships with major importers, exporters, and global freight forwarders throughout the territory and will be focused on growing existing business as well as hunting business development opportunities with new clients.

Requirements:

For this unique role, we are seeking aggressive, self-starters who are strong relationship builders and who understand that they are in partnership with clients for the long-term. The AE will be focused on selling international ocean freight / transportation. Additionally the AE will evaluate market conditions and assist in focusing the company's efforts in a sales approach, which is long-term, profitable and meets the Ocean Sales objectives of the company.

Evaluating and qualifying potential new clients, determining and developing sales strategies for particular target accounts, and planning and executing a collective sales effort to address the new target accounts will all be key responsibilities of this role. Ideal candidates will have a solid 2 + years of proven ocean freight sales experience.

Above market Base Salary, Bonus ( + Bonus ) Company Vehicle, Gas Card, 401K, PPO Medical/Dental Benefits, Life Insurance, Tuition Reimbursement.
