job summary:

Account Manager - AV Videoconferencing - Northern New Jersey

Our client is a top technology integrator specializing in design/build for collaborative meeting spaces such as conference rooms and huddle rooms. The AV Account Manager of will have a track record of selling design/build Audio Visual systems to mid-to-large enterprise accounts.

This role is expected to be Hybrid Remote with some travel to meet with customers in the Tristate NY-NJ-PA as needed.

responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Work with existing customers, as well as building new business with enterprise customers to define their needs for new AV design/build projects
  • Discover opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell existing accounts through partnership with C level Executives (both technical and non-technical).
  • Create ease of access, with a focus on solutions selling to customers in a way that is easy to understand, and tailored to their specific needs.
  • Maintain a current understanding of audio visual, display and videoconferencing equipment, applications, and functionality including remote control system products and applications (Crestron, AMX, etc.)
  • Manage multiple and competing priorities in various stages of the sales cycle
  • Negotiate issues with peers, partners, and customers with a service oriented and positive attitude
  • Provide mentorship and direction to members of the sales team.
 
qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of direct selling experience in AV, videoconferencing or related technology.
  • Track Record of consistently meeting sales quotas and other KPI metrics
  • Must possess a strong understanding of audio visual, display and videoconferencing equipment, applications, and functionality including remote control system products and applications (Crestron, AMX, etc.).
  • Ability to read architectural and construction drawings, and draft basic signal flow sketches
  • Experience working in or around commercial construction environments (power, conduit, core drills, etc.)
  • Bachelors Degree
  • CTS certification highly desired
