job summary:
- GREAT opportunity to move into an Accounting Manager role that is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Responsible for establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- The Accounting Manager is key in maintaining and analyzing the general ledger in order to produce accurate and timely financial reports and statements in partnership with the Controller.
- This position has a level of supervisory responsibilities. Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams will utilize Accounting Manager for assistance coding invoices or cash receipts. Account Manager will also lead teams in best practices for their departments.

- Manage and oversee daily operations of accounting department including:
- Month and year-end process
- Accounts payable/receivable
- Cash receipts
- General ledger
- Budgeting and cash flow
- Capital assets reconciliations
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports and statements
- Meet financial accounting objectives & Assist in annual audits
qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting required with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a senior management position.
- CMA or CPA desirable but not required
- 5 to 7 years of management or leadership experience
- Managed up to 4 direct reports
