1. Newly created position with a succession planning road map to become a PE backed Group Controller over multiple industrial entity investments
2. Direct mentorship by an affable committed Controller who is looking for his future replacement
3. Work variety, mix of Corporate Accounting and Portfolio Business including cost accounting
4. Actively involved in the analysis of future portfolio acquisitions

The Successful Applicant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, Master's and CPA preferred, not required
• Exposure to Accounting ERP, Global Shop Solutions and QuickBooks are added values
• 5+ years' experience, exposure to manufacturing or cost accounting and a mix of public accounting and industry experience is a plus
• Ability to work with a very tight knit team, strong open communication throughout office and team, driven work ethic with strong attention to detail and analytical value add, must have desire to become a Group Controller over multiple entities.

Responsibilities

• Corporate accounting including monthly close, budgeting and forecasting, financial statements, KPIs, financial reporting analysis, working capital/cash flow management, treasury, payroll and costing across a wide diversity of business operations
• Support and being mentored by Group Controller within the portfolio companies on accounting projects, such as month-end close, costing, management reports, and purchasing analysis
• Prepare monthly budget variance analysis, combining analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles, and assist with external audit requests
• Develop business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls, recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Assist in liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, tax preparation and corporate structuring
• Research and knowledge of economic factors affecting portfolio companies and issues that arise
