job summary:

Leading health care management company with over 5000 customers nationwide is looking for a ACCOUNTING MANAGER. Reports to the Assistant Controller overseeing GL, journal entries, AP, AR, tax accounting and operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounting departments.
  • Create a development plan for each staff member.
  • Provide technical direction and support within the accounting department.
  • Establish and monitor internal control of assets, including developing and writing accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist in preparing the cash basis financials for all medical groups for tax purposes
  • Work with the Assistant Controller/Controller to prepare annual GAAP basis financial statements.
  • Coordinate the annual audit/tax filing for all entities.
  • Ensure that the monthly closing process is completed in a timely fashion.d.
  • Build and update financial reports when needed.
  • Work closely with Treasury on the inter-company transactions.
  • Provide timely and meaningful financial analysis.

Requirements:

BS degree

CPA a plus but not required

7+ years of related experience

Experience with NetSuite a plus
