accounting manager in homestead

Accounting Manager needed for manufacturing company in Homestead. This is a hands on position that requires a degree in Accounting, minimum 5 years experience working for a manufacturer and experience with a large ERP system.

• Manage the financial activities of the company to ensure it complies with US Regulations

• Preparation of full set of manufacturing accounts, prepare monthly financial reporting within deadline. Perform financial statements analysis on timely basis

• Analyze the monthly, quarterly and annual financial results and provide the management team with a clear understanding of the financial performance and the financial effects / implications of business plans and strategies

• Direct and manage the process for budgets and financial forecasting and exercise control to ensure the expenditures are within the budget

• Responsible for the annual budget exercise, company tax computation, deferred tax and filing of annual tax return

• Coordinating the yearly financial year-end audit exercises, prepare the Audited Financial Statement, liaison with external auditors to ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Standard in US.

• Ensure that effective internal controls are in place to promote efficiency, assure the implementation of policies, safeguard assets and avoid fraud or error.

• Wide knowledge of ERP systems and JD Edwards is a MUST.

• More than 5 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Accounting.

• Possess high integrity, independent and committed with good leadership, analytical and communications skills together with a strong sense of responsibility

• Proficient in Excel, Words and PowerPoint.
• Degree in Accounting
