We are seeking an Accounting Manager with Retail experience to join our fast growing client that designs, manufactures and sells their brand to mass retailers, specialty stores and to consumers online. This is a full-time position based in Jacksonville, Florida. A flexible office schedule (part remote/part office) can be created as long as it meets the needs of the required position.

Our Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in the organization, by partnering with the finance and operations team members to develop and manage the execution of all accounting and financial functions. This position will initially require a hands-on approach. The Accounting Manager will need to have a thorough understanding of retail sales milestones, production deadlines, and business objectives and desired delivery timeline.


  • Lead all aspects of accounting and finance for the company
  • Maintain General Ledger as well as all subledgers including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory,
  • Collaborate across production, sales and operations to effectively create internal financial processes
  • Preparation of Monthly Financials
  • Collection of accounts receivable including Chargeback Research and Resolution
  • Purchase Order creation and management
  • Preparation of Quarterly Sales Tax Returns
  • Account Reconciliations
  • Inventory management and reporting
  • Department Budget Preparation and Updates
  • Sales Commissions
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 5 years or more of senior accounting experience in a Retail Environment
  • Strong communications skills, with the ability to communicate across the entire organization
  • Strong team player, able to work successfully across multiple business functions.
  • Dependable, resourceful, fast learner and detail oriented
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel.
