job summary:

Tatum by Randstad is currently working on an Accounting Manager role for a client in the Knoxville, TN area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of strong corporate accounting experience and have a Bachelor's or a Master's Degree in Accounting. CPA license is highly desired. 1-3 years of supervisory experience is required as well.

This is a new position and you will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including ledger maintenance, accounts payable, revenue and asset accounting, as well as associated analysis and reporting. Evaluates and makes improvements to accounting processes while ensuring that practices comply with organization accounting policies and applicable laws and regulations. Fluent in budgeting processes, cost accounting, accounts payable, month-end processes, journal entries, vendor management as well as payroll accounting and bonus accruals.

Exposure to JD Edwards, Power B is highly desired.
