Our client is hiring for an Accounting Manager in Salisbury, NC. This position will be managing all of the financial operations within the company.

responsibilities:
- Prepare, review and approve Balance Sheet reconciliations as required including reconciliation of sub-ledgers to the general ledger.
- Post sub-ledgers to the general ledger and posts reconciling journal entries to balance and close the general ledger each month.
- Reviews and approves General Ledger entries for all business units.
- Reviews, approves and manages the Regular and Specific closing checklist for all business units.
- Perform a wide variety of general accounting functions including, but not limited to preparation, review, and approval of journal entries, month-end closing processes, year-end schedules and reports, budget monitoring, and chart of accounts maintenance and control.
- Assist with Annual Audit support, schedule preparation and support to external auditors.
- Prepare various ad hoc financial reports and analyses.
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- CPA would be a plus but not required
- Three to five years previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience required
- Strong time management and organizational skills required
- Advanced skills in MS Excel are required along with superior data management and analysis skills
