Tatum Professional Search is assisting a financial services firm with their search for an Accounting Manager.

 
location: Washington, District Of Columbia

education: Bachelor's degree
experience: 5 Years
 
responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement and oversee overall accounting strategy
  • Oversee accounting daily operations, manage 2 accounting staff
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data
  • Regularly produce financial reports or statements, income and balance sheet analysis, month end reports, GL detail
  • Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
  • Perform and oversee annual audits
  • Provide recommendations
  • Meet financial accounting objectives
 
qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with accounting software and databases
  • Ability to multitask
  • Understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
