Accounting Manager - $85,000 - $105,000 plus bonus

Quite frankly - this is NOT your traditional Accounting Manager position!

Opportunity to join a rapidly growing, privately held company in York as their Accounting Manager. This position is an "add to staff" (newly created position) based both on the company's growth and the need to prepare a succession plan for the current CFO (who will be promoted to CEO in a 4-6 year timeframe).

This position is a true "blended" role in that it will be responsible for accounting functions (the closing process, financial reporting) as well as financial analysis functions (profitability analysis, budgeting, forecasting, ad hoc analysis). This position will manage / supervise a team of three and will report directly to the CFO. This position will also be spearheading a number of efforts to streamline existing processes. A candidate with a passion for and experience in process improvement is highly desirable.

Our client seeks a candidate with a minimum of five years of total accounting experience with at least one year of supervisory / management experience. Candidates must have strong Excel / PC / Systems and strong analytical skills.
