Tatum is working with an automotive client that is looking for an experience Accounts Receivable professional for an AR Manager role. Fully onsite, excellent growth opportunity!

· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the company's goals and objectives, and ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.

· Manage and supervise the accounts receivable department, including training, performance evaluation, and coaching of staff.

· Oversee the activities of the Accounts Receivable Department to ensure the accurate and timely management of all accounts receivable aging components including billings, cash receipts application, etc.

· Processing and delivery of monthly customer statements utilizing partner/vendor proprietary software.

· Ensure statements are accurate and timely.

· Monitor payment collections.

· Manage and report on past due accounts.

· Develop relationships and provide effective communication with store managers.

· Provide required transaction date to outside accounting firm.

· Manage and oversee the new customer activation.

· Review and recommend customer credit limits.


- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable management preferred. Relevant experience in lieu of education may be acceptable.
