Currently working with a growth pre-IPO real estate technology company that is currently in the market for an Accounts Receivable Supervisor for the team. This individual will oversee the Accounts Receivable functions, Revenue and AR Accounting, and credit/cash functions for a growth company. Position will managed an offshore team and be hands on with developing processes and procedures as the company continues to scale. Qualified candidates will have 3-6+ years of Accounts Receivable, Cash/Revenue Accounting type experience. Experience working within ASC 606, and month-end close duties. Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our Finance team! The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounts receivable function and ensuring timely and accurate collections of tenant rental payments.
 
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounts receivable function, including managing a team of accounts receivable specialists and team leads and coordinating with other departments as needed
- Monitor tenant accounts to ensure accurate billing and timely collection of rental payments
- Handle escalated tenant inquiries or disputes related to billing or collections
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to accounts receivable and collections
- Perform regular audits of tenant accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Generate and distribute reports related to accounts receivable and collections to management, mainly the Director of Finance
- Coordinate with our bookings and sales teams to ensure accurate tenant data and lease terms are reflected in the accounting system
- Provide training and development opportunities to the accounts receivable team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job duties effectively.
 
 
qualifications:

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable activity, with some supervisory skills preferred.

- Strong knowledge of USGAAP accounting principles and practices, especially familiarity with ASC606 treatment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants, team members, and management

- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

- Proficiency with accounting software (preferred: Netsuite) and Microsoft Office Suite/Google

Sheets

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Willingness to think outside of the box to close a deal, finalize a payment or diffuse an escalated

situation with a customer as needs arise
