job summary:

We are currently engaged with a growing SAAS Organization company here in Westchester County looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Manager. It is a stand alone role that will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the Accounts Receivable Department that manages all accounts receivables invoices and collections.

    responsibilities:

    Job duties:

    • Develops relationships with Department outside of Accounts Receivable and documents needs and organizational priorities.
    • Communicates with Finance to review revenue cycle data and address concerns.
    • Reports major issues and potential threats/opportunities to Finance.
    • Develops and implements best practices, policies, guidelines, and procedures.
    • Compiles and prepares a variety of reports for management in order to analyze trends and make recommendations.
    • Troubleshoots, enhances, and standardizes innovative solutions and work-flow processes throughout the revenue cycle to assist in achieving consistency and success.
    • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
     
    qualifications:

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
    • Five (5) years of accounts receivable experience. Accounts receivable experience related SaaS is preferred.
    • Knowledge of accounts receivable processes, procedures, and best practices.
    • Knowledge of how and when to involve key players and effectively use internal employer resources to provide the best solution.
    • Strong accounting, GAAP and revenue recognition skills.
    • Strong word processing, spreadsheet, and database software skills.
    • Strong mathematical skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers and fractions; computing percentages; and working with decimals.
    • Strong financial reporting skills.
    • Strong management level oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Strong time management skills.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to effectively present information, including financial reporting and analytics, and respond to questions from groups of executives and managers.
    • Ability to see reoccurring issues and fixing them or identify and solve front end issues.
    • Ability to remain flexible and work within a collaborative and fast paced environment.
    • Ability to communicate with diverse personalities in a tactful, mature, and professional manner.
