Tatum Professionals is currently assisting a rapidly growing client during their confidential search for a new Multi-Family Asset Manager here in the Nashville area.

  • Develop, present, and execute comprehensive annual business plans for each asset.
  • Provide leadership and development support to Asset Management Analysts.
  • Liaise with internal and third-party resources to ensure successful implementation of business strategies and business plans.
  • Develop and communicate strategic recommendations regarding optimal exit strategies; coordinate and execute successful asset dispositions.
  • Become the local expert in each market where properties are assigned, with a focus on knowing competitive assets, the development pipeline, and other economic drivers that could impact asset performance.
  • Visit all properties in the portfolio on a regular basis to ensure assets are being operated per plan.
  • Review, analyze and compare current and historical operational and financial performance against key metrics and original underwriting for existing assets.
  • Produce monthly asset performance updates and support quarterly investor reporting.
  • Perform asset-level valuation reviews as needed, including gathering market data, reviewing property performance, and measuring each asset against its budgets and goals.
  • Consult with acquisitions and development teams on underwriting and due diligence efforts for new investment opportunities.
  • Oversee takeover of new assets, ensuring smooth and successful transition into the portfolio.
  • Assist with documenting and updating relevant policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Complete all work in an ethical, fair, and consistent manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college
  • Minimum of seven years' experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education
  • and commercial and multi-family experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and property management software required, Yardi experience preferred
  • Advanced understanding of multifamily operations required
  • Basic construction/technical knowledge and experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of landscape horticulture and arboricultural and plant materials is helpful
