Leading real estate investment/development company is looking for an Assistant Controller. Reports to the Corporate Controller overseeing accounting and operations.

responsibilities:

Leading real estate investment/development company is looking for an Assistant Controller. Reports to the Corporate Controller overseeing accounting and operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate transactions and identify potential accounting and/or financial issues.
  • Review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packages.
  • Participate in overall consolidation of financial statements.
  • Monitor financial progress of development and renovation budgets.
  • Provide guidance and supervision over A/P and A/R team members.
  • Involve with cash management and controls.
  • Manages preparation of interim and year end audit materials.
  • Reviews tax reporting packages for timely delivery to the Company's tax preparers.
  • Maintain high level of internal control to safeguard assets.
  • Understand property and company operations.
 
qualifications:

Requirements:

BS degree

5 - 7 years of related experience

Experience with real estate of fund accounting a plus
