job summary:

Tatum is currently partnering with a large national industrial real estate company who is looking for a, Associate Vice President of Acquisitions for their West Coast team. The position would be fully remote to start and will become hybrid when it is appropriate. This will be a full time, direct hire role reporting to the VP of Investments.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Business Development
  • Source investment opportunities
  • Work through acquisitions process from initial identification to final delivery to include underwriting and due diligence
  • Conduct presentations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Responsible for maintaining, managing and reporting deal pipeline, ensuring that investment volume is met
  • Collaborate with Fund Managers and Analysts to ensure project financial models are delivered accurately and complete
  • Additional duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of progressive industrial or commercial real estate acquisitions and an in depth knowledge of the acquisitions cycle. Other skills and requirements are:

  • Bachelors in Real Estate, Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Knowledge of Argus, Salesforce and Yardi
  • Demonstrated knowledge of underwriting analysis and transaction experience
  • Strong Financial Modeling
