job summary:

We are seeking an Audit Associate to join a growing CPA firm in Ft. Lauderdale. This will be a full-time position, in office, performing audits for our HOA clients.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience and have a desire to grow within the company. The comprehensive benefit plan includes 15 days PTO, 7 paid holidays, medical, dental, vision and more.

responsibilities:
  • Perform and assist with audits, reviews, and compilations for our clients within the HOA and property management industry
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls
  • Understanding of current accounting and reporting standards
  • Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines
  • Review cash receipts and cash disbursements
  • Review fluxuation analysis, insurance, reserve fund, and bank reconciliations.
 
qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Quickbooks proficiency
  • 3-5 years audit experience required
  • HOA audit experience preferred
  • CPA license preferred
