job summary:

POSITION: Midwest Business Development Manager

A 90 year old company and world leader in consumer products and design of HVAC Purification & Care products, has a key opportunity in the Midwest for a Business Development Manager to oversee sales for the Midwest. The ideal candidate will have experience selling to the Education, Hospitality, Medical/Dental, and HVAC Sectors This company has multiple global labs dedicated to research and development of state-of-the-art technology, products, and solutions.

The Midwest Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Defining the Sales Strategy for the Midwest Market.
  • Developing relationships with businesses to seek new opportunities and expand business with existing accounts
  • As a subject matter expert on Air & Water Quality, and Purification Technologies, conduct product training sessions for new and existing clients
  • Specify the development and implementation of products for a vast range of products based on client requirements
  • Utilize CRM to process sales quotes, orders, and customer needs analysis. Document all service related issues.
  • Maintain daily communication with plants regarding product schedules, transportation, and inventories.

QUALIFCATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree coupled with a minimum of five years of direct sales experience
  • Experience selling to the HVAC, Education, and / or Healthcare Sectors is preferred
  • Strong problem solving/decision making skills. Excellent communication skills and experience developing strong long-term relations with clients.
  • TECHNOLOGY: Experience with NetSuite or related technology. Experience with ALL Microsoft Office Products. Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills.

Excellent compensation program including generous base salary/bonus-commission program, expense account, vehicle allowance, medical/dental/401K, etc.
