job summary:

Consulting Services Business Development Manager

Our client is a dynamic and growing consulting firm that provides high level consulting services to emerging growth, middle-market, and F500 companies. They focus on mitigating risk and improving their client's ROI. For over 20 years, they have helped clients solve real problems.

As a result of steady and significant growth even in this challenging year they need to grow the team with a BDM who could be based in either South Florida or Detroit areas. Since we're looking for people who know their local/regional market exceptionally well we will want to focus on candidates living in either area already.

We need to find a talented, highly motivated, and experienced BDM fluent in business advisory services including finance, accounting, data analytics, information technology, and operations.

In order to potentially qualify for an interview with this client they MUST see 5-10 years of BDM experience within a Big4 or similar consulting firm like BDO, IBM or others in that space.

  • Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
  • Build annual sales projections
  • Generate leads
  • Manage CRM process and software
  • Set and lead business development meetings
  • Assist with the proposal process
  • Collaborate with client service teams and leverage expertise to mentor professionals through the BD process
  • Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement

  • Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
  • Superior presentation skills, both written and verbal

Compensation:

  • $130K-$150K+ w/ bonus potential as well
  • Excellent benefits
