job summary:

Are you ready to be the number Financial Person in this public company that has seen tremendous growth this year. This CFO position reports directly to the CEO of this organization. They will work with the other members of the executive team to to evaluate and monitor their business strategy. Included in their responsibilities will be to maintain appropriate internal controls and risk management processes.

Additionally:

Provide regular accurate reporting on the financial performance in compliance with all accounting policies and procedures and ensure full analysis is carried out to highlight trends, predict opportunities and identify risks.

Play a key role in the in the development of the business by both challenging and supporting decision making and by driving performance across the business

Works closely with the Management Team to update and improve business processes and identify further business planning developments to ensure continuous improvement in line with the strategy

Develop the finance team to be effective business partners, driving clear communication of the numbers, commercial financial analysis and insights to the business teams.

Track record of delivering commercial contribution to drive business performance and improved company-wide decision-making

Track record of delivering sustained profitable growth;

Technical experience that will cover the range of financial systems and accounting standards; will have a thorough understanding of treasury, tax, financial control, financial reporting, audit, risk/insurance and procurement.

Experience of working in a larger multi-national business, while also having an understanding of how to drive the growth of a smaller into a significantly larger business.

Proven experience of delivering finance transformation covering people, systems and processes, including building and restructuring finance teams to provide resilient support and value add to the business, as part of the capability platform for growth of the business. This will be a significant focus of the role particularly in the initial phase.

Will have clear ability to "roll sleeves up" to get into the detail on numbers and process, while also being able to take a strategic view on the development of the Finance team and the business.
