Tatum's client, a privately held professional services firm is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join their executive management team. This is a highly visible opportunity to join a well-run, fast growth firm and be an instrumental member of the executive team in assisting in piloting the future of the firm.

responsibilities:

The day-to-day responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer would include: strategically partner with the senior executive team to look forward, innovate and drive the business; lead the finance and accounting team; evaluate staff; upgrade as necessary; dive into details; lead the process of defining more refined KPI's, accountability metrics and the form and timing of dashboard reports and execute accordingly;Investor and lender administration.

 
qualifications:

Required Criteria:

  • Cultural fit with the innovative, high energy, high-growth environment
  • 15-20 years of experience preferred - Need tangible management and operational partnership experience.
  • CPA or Top MBA equivalent; high aptitude/intellect
  • Professional services industry experience (including full time equivalent utilization) or equivalent and asset management experience..
  • Strategic, forward looking, entrepreneurial, disciplined leader with a well developed personality; very high energy; focus on the big picture balanced with comfort going into details; adaptable.
  • Analytical and technologically savvy: proficient in accounting software; advanced Excel; knowledge of Enterprise Performance Management (consolidation, budgeting and forecasting) software; understanding of how front office software works and interfaces with back office software.
  • Skilled in the art of negotiation.
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills across all types of employees; the board and external stakeholders.
