job summary:
  • Exciting opportunity to become a Collections Manager responsible for the timely collections of accounts receivable utilizing ARCS and 3E applications.
  • You will not have any direct reports, however will communicate with Partners, clients and administrative personnel.
  • You will work to resolve and negotiate payment issues and manage collection efforts as needed to maximize cash flow and profitability by reducing aging status of account receivables.

  • Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, deadline pressure, knowledge of negotiation skills, and collection techniques.
  • Willingly and effectively exchange information within the department for reporting and informational purposes.
  • Ability to organize high volume workflow with attention to detail and effective problem solving.
  • Willing to work additional hours, sometimes with little or no notice, especially toward each month end and throughout the fourth quarter.
  • BA in accounting or business-related field required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Minimum of 5 years of legal collections experience required, preferably from a large law firm environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with applicable law firm accounting software is required. Experience with 3E and ARCS Preferred.
