responsibilities:
As the newest member of this growing team, you will be tasked with:
- Working directly with the Executive Committee to make business decisions regarding the organizations direction, obstacles, solutions and operations
- Prepping budgets and financial statements
- Managing 3 rd -party vendor relations and other vendor relations
- Cash flow analysis, deposits, transfers, reconciliations and projections, as well as, prepping and approving journal entries
- Project-specific financial reviews and helping to keep each team to understand the financial repercussions of each decision
- Overseeing Union benefits accruals and payroll tax reconciliations
- Inventory management
- Leading a team and helping to develop your team, maximizing performance
- Ensuring all GAAP compliance
- Other duties not listed
qualifications:
In order to be successful in this position, you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance - MBA and/or CPA candidates are highly encouraged to apply!
- Expert knowledge and application of Excel and all MS Office products
- Experience utilizing Sage and/or Viewpoint
- Heavy attention to detail and an eye for continuous improvement opportunities
- Ability to see the big picture while maintaining daily, operational goals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines
