You'll play a pivotal role in helping a rapidly scaling Manufacturer's accounting function improve its processes and reporting, and be involved in projects and other system improvement initiatives.
REPORTING to the CEO, work cross-functionally with various leaders on key initiatives.

responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Day to day accounting and finance management, month end close, general ledger, balance sheet, external audit firm relationships, working with outsourced tax firm on tax requests.
- Reconciliations, revenue recognition, financial reporting, balance sheet, fixed assets, variance analysis and sales tax.
- Work cross-functionally with sales and operations teams to resolve data questions, build out and improve reporting.
- Manage accounting team of 2, propose and implement process improvements that are designed to streamline the accounting process.
- Lead the annual audit, annual budget, sales tax compliance and other compliance reporting.
qualifications:
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 8+ years of hands-on accounting and finance experience
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience managing accounting staff, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience working on system improvements and improving reporting is an advantage
- M&A or Private Equity experience is a big plus, but not required
- A doer mentality with an interest, appetite and eagerness to 'make it better', you'll lean into issues and want to fix them!
This position pays a base salary, bonus, and potential equity.
