responsibilities:

As the newest member of this family, you'll be tasked with:

  • Overseeing the daily operational accounting and finance function of the plant, including location performance, operational projections and goals
  • Maintaining GAAP and SOX compliance, in addition to the company's policies
  • Inventory control, budgeting, forecasting, income statements, fixed assets, expense reporting and cost accounting
  • Month-end and Year-end Closings
  • Preparing and analyzing financial reports, expenditures and other operational reporting as needed
  • Implementing continuous improvement activities
  • Working directly with Plant Manager to identify and obtain goals and targets, based on company expectations developed by leadership
 
qualifications:

In order to be successful in this position, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • +5 years of experience in a high-functioning accounting/Controller position
  • Strong background in manufacturing environment
  • Experience utilizing SAP software and general computer savvy
  • Great communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
