job summary:

Tatum by Randstad is excited to partner with an Electronics organization in their search for a Controller position. This is a hands-on, detailed role that will supervise a small team.

This opportunity is located on the Missouri-side of the Kansas City Metro Area.

This organization is working in-office, Monday through Friday, taking appropriate COVID-19 protocols.

responsibilities:

Job duties for the Controller position include, but are not limited to:

  • Month-end closing.
  • Preparing financial statements.
  • Preparing and posting journal entries.
  • Assisting with A/P & A/R processing.
  • Performing account reconciliations.
  • Providing data to and coordinating with the third party HR/Payroll provider.
  • Budgeting/forecasting.
  • Preparing and presenting management reporting to the parent company.
 
qualifications:

Requirements for the Controller position include, but are not limited to:

  • Bachelor's degree, Accounting.
  • At least 4-years of experience, preferably as a Controller/Assistant Controller/Accounting Manager.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Desire to be "hands-on" in the Accounting details.
  • Budgeting/forecasting.
  • Ability to work in a complex Accounting software package.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
