job summary:
  1. Business: $30M-$60M private engineering design, marketing and distribution

responsibilities:
  • Leads directs and evaluates the accounting department.
  • Hands on and oversees all accounting functions, month end close, general ledger, billing, AP/AR, payroll, and inventory.
  • Prepare cash forecasts, manage AP/AR, bank line of credit, work with external accountants on the audit and tax related queries.
  • Implement and establish internal controls and policies in accordance with GAAP.
  • Will own some HR related tasks, insurance and benefits
 
qualifications:
  • 10+ years experience, bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred not required.
  • Proficiency with financial systems - QuickBooks and NetSuite are an added benefit
