job summary:

Tatum is currently working with a family office in West Los Angeles who is looking for an experienced Controller. The role would be full time on-site and would report to the COO.

responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing day to day accounting operations for personal and business transactions
  • Cash Management to include weekly and monthly cash reporting
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Back reconciliations
  • Corporate Accounting
  • Construction Accounting
  • Property Management Accounting
  • Conduct month end for all entities
  • Generate Consolidated Financial Statements
  • Investor Reporting
  • Manage Tax reporting and extensions
  • Payroll and 401k contributions
  • Additional duties as assigned
 
qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with additional experience in real estate construction, property management or private equity. Other requirements include:

  • Yardi experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
