job summary:

We are looking for an Entity Controller to oversee the day-to-day functions of the

finance department. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage their experience and business acumen to provide robust financial analysis and provide hands-on leadership of day-to-day accounting responsibilities. The Controller should be an organized and self-directed team member with excellent communication skills. As our business is continually evolving, the ideal candidate should be able comfortable with change management and be able to adapt to changes in responsibilities.

responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholder teams to develop necessary analysis and documentation in a cooperative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with managerial and executive teams.

Build and strengthen relationships with other departments,

including sales, operations, customer service, marketing, and IT.

Serve as a key business partner to Sales and Operations leaders. Identify opportunities to improve profitability and provide analyses that assist with decision making.

Oversee daily operations of the brand finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reports.

Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts and budgets. Assess variances against forecasts and identify forecast improvement opportunities.

Coordinate with Finance leaders to oversee monthly close process and ensure all financial statements are issued timely and

in accordance with GAAP. Prepare/review journal entries.

Perform/review account and variance analysis and communicate results with executive leadership.

Provide guidance and assistance to other finance team members, including A/R, A/P, and Cost Accounting.

 
qualifications:

CPA

5+ years of progressive experience

BS in Accounting; MaCC preferred

Public Accounting (Big 4) Experience
