We have partnered with a well established company North of Boston with an immediate need for a Corporate Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to advance their career and focus on General Ledger and Financial Accounting duties (move away from operational accounting).

The Corporate Accountant will learn and perform general ledger maintenance, month/year end close, financial analysis, and reconciling accounts in a multi-site, complex environment with tons of growth and development.

responsibilities:

The Accountant will be responsible for assisting in the timely and accurate preparation of accounting, analysis and financial reporting for all assigned entities. The Accountant will assist the Controller with the monthly closing process, analyzing and reconciling general ledger accounts, and working to improve processes.

Duties :

-Completion of the monthly revenue reconciliation.

-Reconcile balance sheet accounts as assigned.

-Research and book journal entries.

-Prepare all weekly/monthly analysis as required.

-Perform variance analysis; identify and explain trends.

-Research and respond to questions regarding the P+L's.

-Responsible for Fixed Assets.

-Additional responsibilities as required by applicable division.

  • BS in Accounting
  • 2+ years of relevant accounting experience or internship
  • Ability to work in dynamic, collaborative environment
  • Wants to learn
  • Must be team oriented
  • Can work in fast paced environment with changing priorities
  • Willing and able to work & learn in a remote environment (to start)
