job summary:

A $85 million in revenue private equity backed company in Telecommunications Infrastructure needs a Corporate Controller to move the Accounting function from New Jersey to DFW.

Primary focus for Corporate Controller

  • Will lead 2 divisional Controllers
  • Back office build out

responsibilities:
  • Primary focus is to wind-down the New Jersey operation and move accounting to DFW.
  • Transition Accounting
  • Month-end close
  • Financial statement preparation
  • Prepares budgets, collects & analyze data, recommending plans to address financial issues and budget variances
  • Analyze daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and present to the executive team and department managers
 
qualifications:
  • Needs to have % of completion knowledge regarding accounting for large contracts
  • Preferably background with construction long term projects or manufacturing type background.
  • Strong systems knowledge, needed for supporting growth
  • Ability to lead and develop accounting function
  • CPA preferred
  • Proven experience as a controller
