Top tier, IT Cybersecurity/Big Data Technology Solutions company local to South Florida is seeking an internal IT Recruiter to join their well established team due to GROWTH!

Client offers strong base salary + commission tiers based on placements!

100% remote OR hybrid schedule - looking for the best and qualified candidate.

Candidates must have strong IT recruiting experience servicing project based deliverables such as ERP implementations, cyber security implementation/testing and/or cloud services.

Job Overview:

Technical Recruiter responsibilities include sourcing, screening and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. You will also network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire and ensure we attract the best professionals. Ultimately, you will build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our IT positions.

responsibilities:
  • Source potential candidates on niche platforms, like LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, Career Builder, Indeed and Dice.
  • Write and post technical job descriptions.
  • Have a full-scale understanding of hiring needs and available positions within the company.
  • Actively work toward building a diverse and qualified tech team to support the organization.
  • Participate in meetings with hiring managers to determine vacant tech-related positions and the preferred attributes for potential hires.
  • Using standardized screening techniques, Assess the skills, qualifications and experience of hopeful candidates.
  • Conduct preliminary interviews with recruits to gauge interest, personality and salary requirements.
  • Provide feedback to management about details regarding applications.
  • Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates.
  • Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals.
  • Compose job offer letters.
  • Promote company's reputation as a great place to work.
  • Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements.
  • Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products.
 
qualifications:
  • Associates degree required; BSc in Human Resources Management, IT or relevant degree strongly preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter or Recruiter
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with a diverse team and striving for fairness in hiring all races, genders and ages
  • Previous experience interviewing and assessing potential hired for technology positions and assisting with onboarding processes
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles
  • Proficient in using company software and databases to connect with and reach out to potential candidates
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally
  • Ability to speak knowledgeably about the company and answer any technical questions a potential hire may have.
