Currently working with a successful real estate investment company that is currently looking for a corporate & treasury accountant that can support the corporate accounting team with general accounting and treasury operations. Position will handle a variety of corporate accounting tasks, treasury accounting and operations and be able to learn and develop within the company. Corporate and Treasury Accountant

Mix of Corporate Accounting, Treasury Accounting & Operations.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Essential Job Functions/Duties:

  • Performs day-to-day general accounting activities: accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, account reconciliations, to ensure compliance with established accounting policies
  • Perform month-end closing activities such as preparing and reviewing reconciliations and journal entries related to cash, prepaid expenses, amortization, account reconciliation, credit card expense, financial package/financial statement.
  • Preparing and analyzing monthly and quarterly reports as required
  • Assist in treasury with monthly property sweeps, wire request via DocuSign, wire set up and transfer, wire and ach callback verification, send out wire confirmation.
  • Open mails and send out mails

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance handling the general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, allocations, fixed assets, and variance analyses
  • Understand and apply both generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company accounting policies and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail Oriented and organized
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
