job summary:

Privately owned $50M Wholesale Supply House seeks an experienced Credit Manager to join their team.

experience: 10 Years
 
responsibilities:
  • report to owner daily on-going issues with credit and collection
  • convert owner's instructions into specific tasks and lead credit and collection team to follow through in a timely and efficient manner
  • coordinate with sales team on new credit applications, changing credit limits, and held orders
  • manage sales tax exempt certificates
  • process liens and bond claims for owner's approval
  • review issues with unapplied and partial payments, mobilize team members to resolve these issues
  • train staff and lead system/process improvements
 
qualifications:

Ideal candidate will have

  • minimum 10 years credit experience and 5 years in a supervisory capacity. Ideally in an industry whose customers include Contractors and Construction Companies.
  • communication and team-building skills
  • ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
  • experience with credit bureaus
  • experience with handling liens and bond claims
  • Excel skills a plus

To be considered you must be able to work onsite 5 days a week.
