job summary:

Our Client is looking for a Director of FP&A as their current person resigned today. Looking for perm candidates, but would consider interim to perm.

responsibilities:
  • Drive all financial planning and analysis processes in the company including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting/modeling of new projects with possible ROI, NPV, GP and GM calculations.
  • Advise and guide decision making processes of CEO and CFO through meaningful reporting and management discussion.
  • Work with the area senior leaders to establish strategic and financial plans to drive revenue growth, find efficiency gains, implement process improvements, identify key performance indicators and expense drivers that positively affect EBITDA.
  • Lead monthly financial reviews with all level of management to identify risks and opportunities and to explain variances to budget.
  • Prepare monthly Management Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) and provide all other financial/strategic supporting documentation for board packages and for creditors.
  • Develop robust long-term forecasting processes and documentation. Integrate finance processes with newly implemented financial software NetSuite.
  • Work with the controller to assure monthly financial report accuracy.

  • Experience with data tools such as Catalyst
  • Advanced skill set in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong budgeting, financial and operating reporting experience.
  • Experience with financial forecasting and being able to present information to stakeholders
