We are actively recruiting on a Finance Director position for a client in the Greater Boston area. This global company is looking for a finance leader who can work cross functionally supporting senior management and guide them in their decision making process.

The Finance Director is a true business partner supporting the senior leadership in all areas of financial management guiding them in their decision making process.

Excellent opportunity to shape a large staff as you drive finance and ultimately shape the function and overall department.

responsibilities:
Duties include:
  • Gather, compile financial reports and interpret for executives to use in strategic decisions
  • Identify opportunities and risks that drive financial results; communicate to executives
  • Create long range and short term planning
  • Develop annual budget; investigate and report variance and trends
  • Create, implement strategic initiatives
  • Create financial models to guide decision making, help demonstrate impact of decisions
  • Identify, analyze and recommend continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Manage the development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools.
  • Hire, train, motivate staff
 
qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.

Minimum of 7 years of relevant budgeting, forecasting, analysis experience.

Must be a dedicated leader

Demonstrated experience overseeing financial modeling, reporting, pricing support and analysis

Excellent communication skills

Must have experience in product driven environments
