Hot Pre-IPO software/SaaS company with over 400+ customers WW is looking for a hands-on Director of Finance/Controller. You will be supporting the CFO managing finance and accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of Accounting, Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable and Payroll functions for the entire organization.
- Responsible for various financial reporting, supporting the CFO through IPO process to make sure company is SEC and SOX compliance.
- Manage revenue functions, including review of all revenue agreements and assurance of proper revenue recognition ASC 606 complex multi-element license agreements.
- Oversight of implementing, maintaining and enhancing internal controls in connection with functions on this position's purview. Oversight of company-wide SOX key controls, including review of changes to or implementation of new key controls.
- Responsible for external audits performed on the company's consolidated financial statements, as well as audits of individual international subsidiaries and the Company's 401 (k) Plan.
- Keeps abreast and reviews drafts of various business development initiatives. Provides accounting guidance and feedback as initiatives are being developed to ensure that Business Development leadership and CFO understand the accounting and financial reporting ramifications of potential transactions.
- Develops collaborative working relationships with leaders throughout the organization, especially in the areas of Finance, Tax, Treasury, Business Development, Information Technology, Legal and Human Resources.
Requirements:
BS degree
CPA
15+ years of experience with public accounting and technology industry
Strong knowledge of IPO process and revenue recognition ASC 606
