responsibilities:
- Business partner with senior managers; gather and interpret financial data into actionable intel for decision makers
- Provide financial support to senior management, cross functional collaboration with senior management to analyze results, identify areas for improvement, and develop complex financial analyses.
- Oversee all accounting operations for the division including GL, Cost, Inventory, Revenue Rec, AP, AR.
- Ensure timely completion of the monthly closing process
- Review and analyze P+L, Balance Sheet against budget and forecasts to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement.
- Prepare high-level financial analyses and audit supporting memos to support key financial judgments and ensure compliance.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, risk minimization plans, and opportunity forecasting to drive business growth.
- Responsible for cash forecasts
- Prepare annual budgets, capex plans, and operating cost analyses
- Ensure SOX compliance
- Coordinate with auditors
qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
- BS in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Prior Public Accounting experience preferred
- CPA preferred
- Experience in SOX environment desired
- Excellent communication skills
