job summary:

We have an Immediate need for an Interim Finance Manager. This role is Onsite in Chattanooga. This high visibility finance role will provide reliable data and analysis to help with decision making and planning, as well as become a trusted business advisor to the leaders of our Accounting organization. The role entails interaction with Accounting leadership, Finance leadership, and requires a balance of strong verbal and written communication and partnership skills, and delivering results. The role is a mixture of owning the FP&A process for the organization and driving projects that impact the entire organization.

responsibilities:
  • Build complex financial models and analyses, including pricing analysis, gross margin analysis, pro forma models, scenario-based models with sensitivities, etc.
  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
  • Establish and maintain key metrics to help provide insights for both sales and operations as well as finance to drive better performance insights.
  • Partner with various business units and leadership to provide guidance around analytics, strategic plans, business plans, and targets.
  • Prepare and analyze management presentations for Senior Leadership.
  • Develop the company's P&L and Cash Flow forecasting processes.
  • Partnering with the Accounting Team to support the month-end close process.
 
qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 8 or more years of progressively responsible experience in corporate finance and/or public accounting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; BI tools and ERP experience
  • Experience partnering with business units in executing strategic plans and financial activities of a high revenue growth business
