The Finance Manager position is with a well established, high performing life science company in the Metro West area. Tremendous opportunity to work in a global biotech company offering long term stability and career development.

This Finance Manager role will work cross functionally with key stakeholders to provide pricing analysis to optimize strategy, capture market share and increase profitability. As a Business partner to senior management, this position will oversee complex, global pricing projects, developing/maintaining price KPIs and models. The Manager will provide analysis for pricing initiatives as well as analyze complex data to determine and set competitive prices to capture market share and increase profitability.

responsibilities:

The Finance Manager will have a wide range of duties including:

  • Maintain and analyze large data sets to develop pricing strategies as well as identify market trends and areas of opportunity
  • This person will take lead role in developing and implementing pricing strategy on product launches.
  • Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to increase market share and profits
  • Develop models guiding discounts, and KPIs to optimize product pricing
  • Create dashboards and pricing reports to guide executives in decision making. Manage data from various sources and create/maintain pricing models showing margins for pricing based on various factors (market, customer intel, competitors, etc).
  • Develop and maintain pricing tools; work closely with sales & marketing to streamline processes to ensure swift decision making as needed
  • Forecast revenues; utilize models to demonstrate effect of multiple pricing strategies
  • Partner with executives to determine cost effective strategies
  • Review return on investments for marketing campaigns and promotions
