job summary:
  1. Salary $110-$130K, 10% bonus, 4.5% 401K, and full benefits package.
  2. 100% Remote position with occasional site visits (1x day trip monthly to Iowa).
  3. Leading a team, driving the accounting and finance for a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, including identifying risks and opportunities to meet targets.

  • Leading a team of 5 drives the general ledger, financial reporting, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, AP/AR and payroll functions for a $300M-$400M manufacturing facility.
  • Manages month end close, adjustments, cash flow, working capital, reconciliations, financial statement analysis, balance sheet forecasts.
  • Point of contract for internal and external audits, ensuring the audit requests and provides analysis for the corporate finance and tax departments.
  • Internal control review, and implements improvements for control assessments, maintenance of policies and procedures and identifies operational excellence opportunities.
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance, Masters degree CPA and CMA add value.
  • 7+ years of accounting experience including supporting a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supervising a team, and someone who is of a growth mindset.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, internal controls, analytical and problem solving.
  • Prior experience in audit adds value and experience with an ERP, SAP is an added value.
