Our client north of Boston has an immediate opening for a Financial Data Analyst. The Financial Data Analyst will work closely with senior management to help drive organizational and financial performance of this fast growing company.

Great opportunity for a system savvy, detail oriented Data Analyst who enjoys working with large data sets developing reports and recommendations to guide senior management in their decision making process. The ideal candidate has strong systems & reporting experience (ie Tableau, SQL, Access, BI) as well as communication skills in order to partner with executives.

The position will be Work From Home to start but will require someone local to the Greater Boston area.

responsibilities:

The Financial Data Analyst will business partner with departments providing wide ranging analysis and reporting in support of company goals. This position will be responsible for:

  • Review financial information and data, analyze performance and guide leadership in decision making
  • Gather and interpret large data sets into actionable intel for executives
  • Analyze revenue and expenses to ensure accuracy, forecast performance
  • Prepare variance analysis and identify any trends for executives
  • Analyze data for trends to identify risks and areas for improvement
  • Review product margins, look for areas to reduce costs
  • Streamline processes; develop policies and procedures and ensure strict adherence to maximize efficiency
  • Review complex reconciliations to ensure accuracy

  • 2+ years of relevant skills
