Our client, who are within the Education field (Charter Schools) is searching for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join their team.

 
location: Redwood City, California

salary: $50 - 55 per hour

responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Help finalize, document, and implement process to track spending by project (Tableau, Adaptive, Intacct), in collaboration with Accounting and external consultant
  • Maintain school leader and senior leadership dashboards (in Adaptive Planning and Tableau)
  • Help streamline and automate recurring reports to authorizers and government agencies
  • Provide data and analysis to support adhoc requests (cross-functional and external)
 
qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance or equivalent with minimum of 3 years relevant finance experience
  • Strong analytical, organization and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to work in a team environment with collaborative cross-functional working relationships
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment and manage deadlines accordingly
  • Working knowledge of Adaptive Planning or a similar SaaS financial reporting tool and Intacct or similar ERP
  • Advanced Excel and modeling skills.
  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Familiarity with Tableau helpful
