job summary:

I am working on a 100% remote General Ledger Accountant role in the Dallas area. The client would prefer a local DFW candidate even though the role is remote.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and will have a minimum of 3 years. General Ledger Accountant will report to the Director of Finance and will play a key role in the preparation of the financial statements. The position will be a hands-on role that will be responsible for reconciling balance sheet accounts, posting journal entries and assisting with periodic close processes, and reconciling credit card statements.
