job summary:

Tatum is currently partnering with a large government funded social and health services organization in the San Fernando Valley who is looking for an HR Director to join the team. The role would be full time, direct hire and would report to the agency's Chief Organizational Development Officer and would be responsible for the following:

  • Lead Human Resources team of 8
  • Serve as strategic partner for agency's senior leadership
  • Hire, train and develop HR staff
  • Partner with senior leadership on matters related to union relations
  • Conduct investigations and offer recommendations
  • Additional duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of leadership experience in the non-profit, healthcare, social services or similar sector. Other requirements include:

  • Master's degree required
  • Union experience required
  • Non-profit experience is ideal but not required
