job summary:

Rapidly growing Software SAAS company is looking to hire a HR Manager/Senior HR Manager for their team. They are currently in high growth mode and expect to increase headcount by 50% within the next year. This individual will head the HR department and manage all HR operations including but not limited to setting up policies and procedures, implementing new HRIS system, on-boarding/off boarding, employee relations, compensation, equity, immigration, full cycle recruiting, training/development. This person will be a key business partner to the executive team and the culture champion for the company. This role will report to their CFO.

Ideal candidate will have 7 plus years of experience in a generalist or leadership role, Bachelor's degree, strong business partnering skills, ability to influence and build trust within the organization, PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • This position will create, implement and manage new HR programs and processes as the company grows and scale which include: employee benefits, compensation benchmarking and pay practices, organization and management development support.
  • This role will be a visible role, working directly as a business partner with executives and managers on strategic and tactical HR initiatives on a regular basis.
  • The role is an advisor to managers and employees on all major aspects of HR including health, welfare, leaves of absences, compensation, communications, payroll, learning and development courses, and general inquiries.
  • Manage recruiting process for the company.
  • Execute day to day operations of the HR department including but not limited to onboarding new employees and offboarding those exiting.
  • Manage annual compensation and performance review process
  • The HR Manager manages all US immigration cases in partnership with the executives of the employees who are relocating.
  • Will oversee employment and compliance with regulatory concerns involving employees and partner with legal on implications to Workspot's policies, processes and practices.
  • Manage and implement HR Systems and reporting to scale with the company.
  • Facilitate company-wide holiday/festive events.

  • Outstanding follow through and critical thinking skills required
  • Knowledge of functional areas within HR including compensation, benefits, employment, immigration and employee development
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects and deliverables simultaneously
  • Must understand and apply Federal, State and local CA employment laws.
  • Experience in implementing new HR applications and transitioning to a PEO.
  • Be located in the Bay Area or San Francisco.
