job summary:

Tatum is currently working with a publicly traded aerospace manufacturing company in the San Fernando Valley who is looking for an experienced HR Manager to join the team. The position will report to the VP of HR and would be responsible for the following:

responsibilities:
  • Develop and Manage Safety and Compliance Program
  • Manage Worker's Compensation Claims
  • Manage Talent Acquisition and Retention Program including onboarding and exit interviews
  • Assist with Payroll processing
  • Training and Development
  • Manage attendance and Leaves
  • Employee Relations
  • Benefit Administration
  • Performance Reviews
  • Monthly and Quarterly Reporting
 
qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relative, progressive experience in a manufacturing environment with 2 years minimum of Supervisory/Management experience. Other requirements include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • PHR certification a plus
  • Bilingual Spanish highly preferred
  • Expert-level knowledge of California and Washington State and Federal Labor Law
  • Effective communication skills
