job summary:

Growing and stable company in Broward county seeking a Training Manager immediately. This position offers excellent compensation package and work/life balance. The position does require working in the office with safe social distancing measures.

responsibilities:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with HR to ensure proper audience is invited to employee technical training.
  • Records data such as attendance, certifications, issues and suggestions and debriefs HR and management team on any issues; works with HR team to ensure tracking of training in Company's talent management system is done timely and in accordance with any compliance regulations.
  • Maintains any paperwork related to Company's Apprenticeship program and keeps track of employee progress in partnership with HR.
  • Manages the Company's Apprenticeship Program in partnership with Director of HR to ensure compliance, participation and other requirements are met and kept up to date.
  • Creates and executes classroom training, electronic learning, multimedia programs, and other computer-aided instructional technologies in relation to the Company's Boot Camps, Apprenticeship programs and other technical training needs for all divisions.
  • Participates in the performance review process for technical skill set assessments as necessary.
  • Teaches, grades and manages the upkeep of employee's performance in Company's Boot Camp/Apprenticeship program; Acts as a mentor to the employees/students.
  • Manages the delivery of and executes targeted in-person technical learning experiences to employees including but not limited to service technician training with hands-on workshops.
  • Prepares and communicates training materials, schedules, and agendas for all training requirements.
  • Coordinates logistics, manages materials and provides a critical eye to ensure content is stage ready.
  • Observes and evaluates the results of courses to improve the effectiveness of the programs.

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 2+ years managing training curriculum required
  • 3+ plus years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Training certification preferred
